Worldsteel announces the 2018 Steel Sustainability Champions
“Tata Steel Europe has been recognised as a Steel Sustainability Champion by worldsteel for our work in field of sustainability.
The award was received on April 16th at the worldsteel General Assembly in Madrid.
This recognises Tata Steel’s commitment to the worldsteel sustainability charter, our work on measuring and reporting Sustainability indicators, the provision of Life Cycle Inventory data for our products, shortlisting for the worldsteel Steelie for Excellence in Life Cycle Assessment (Use of Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) tools for the construction sector) and for publishing a sustainability report.
In total six companies were identified as Sustainability Champions for 2018.
